Imitation as the sincerest form of flattery!
I got a couple emails today from loyal customers alerting me to the existence of a familiar dress design coming from another etsy shop owner. Does this look familiar to you???!!! There's no way to prove she copied from me anyway, and the union jack is a popular icon to boot, but it is a rather startling similarity.
International copyright laws being what they are, I don't have much of a recourse, and truthfully I don't care too much either, but her prices undercut me rather badly. Since she's from China, she can get away with it.
I'm not going to do anything unless she starts selling a boatload of them, but I thought you all might like to see her stuff anyway. Her other stuff is really cute, so I'm not sure why she'd put a copy of my dress up on her site anyway.

Almost ready!
I have a few more things to do to get this collection ready, but here it is, so far. There may be one or two more pieces as well and I'm hoping to get it finished for the shop this Saturday, May 16. This is a PRE-ORDER collection, so please convo me through etsy or email me through Flickr to place an order and I'll reserve your piece for you on etsy.
I'll be putting up the specs and final photographs here and on Flickr when they're ready to go, so feel free to email me when you see them. I'll be sending out an email to all those on my list as well. Please email me at godesia1@verizon.net if you would like to be put on my email list.

Black and White Ball
OK, so I went a bit bonkers over the pure simplicity of black and white and created a whole collection of outfits in these simple colors. Here's a sneak peak at what I've been up to for the last couple weeks. I have a few more designs in me yet and have to do a bit of tweaking to do on a couple necklines, but here's what I have so far. These will be available for pre-order only, starting in a week or so, in a variety of price points.
Gingham Squirrel
Dearest Lynne (happibug on flickr) took the most wonderful photo of her doll wearing my umbrella babydoll dress Gingham Squirrel. (It was my favorite of my recent batch of babydolls.) I just HAD to share it with you all. Thanks soooooo much Lynne for this fabulous photo!!! Please check out her flickr photostream for more wonderful dolls and photos; http://www.flickr.com/photos/happibug/3475193526/
Thanks soooooo much sweetie!!!
